Silk Sofa is excited to announce its second sampler, a little over a year after the memorable first edition was released. Polish producer K-Milian introduces the sampler with "Sharvari", a lovely crafted piece with blissful flute melodies and numerous other melodic elements that guarantee a wonderland-esque soundscape. Eximinds from Russia starts off his "Autumn Rain" with a unique guitar melody that is soon accompanied by a soothing breakbeat, floating piano melodies, and many more lush sounds. Polish duo Kobana & Mario Hatchet delivers the third track, "Claps", a rather exciting tune with a particularly hypnotizing lead synth and a strikingly well crafted beat underneath. "Deep Plate Of A Summer Soup" is a more ambitious cut from Sofa resident Alex Rize from Russia. A wonderful atmosphere is soon established by many different synth layers, and throughout the track the listener is presented with numerous breakbeat variations and bassline tweaks. A new Russian collaboration comes from the two Ilya's - Meteo Master & Ilya Malyuev, and their contribution, "Meteo Master", consists of several pad layers that unite to create a thriving atmosphere with distinctive sound effects and beat patterns beneath. Also from Russia is Sound Of Pleasure, whose track "Light Touch" takes the listener on an unforgettable journey through countless bell melodies and magical pad interplays. "Raining In Osaka" has been re-interpreted as a chillout mix by the Finnish brothers DJ Orion & J.Shore, and here we witness a wealth of classical instruments in combination with a distinctive bass that altogether form a brilliant soundscape with tuneful piano melodies. Rounding up this sampler is Latvian producer Long Journey (aka Type) with "Abyss" that is the perfect outro track. Floating and mesmerizing string and pad layers form a fantastic atmosphere, in which countless yet incredibly harmonic and beautiful melodies emerge.
