Silk Textures is thrilled to present a brand new 3-track EP by promising duo Deepshader & Nazca. Moldovan artist Deepshader is also the brainchild of the celebrated Biotones project, which has been supported by the likes of Armin and Gareth Emery. Nazca, a.k.a. Wil Shaw, is a rising American artist, whose collaborations typically center on deep and progressive house.

The release kicks off with "Night On Baker Street", a song that proves as intriguing and evocative as the title. In the tradition of the more noir-influenced side of deep house, a subby bass sensually interacts with various late-night jazz effects. The vision of a detective shadowing a criminal along a moonlit alley immediately is conjured. "Airwash" offers a more dancefloor-centered groove, while a main guitar motif guides the listener through the track. Finally, "Walking Thru The Night Lights" reaches true after-hours terrain: a subdued rhythm is punctuated by a haunting vocal theme and lead melody.
