For Arrival's 51st release, we're thrilled to welcome French producer Matt Fax, whose last appearance on Silk was a standout remix of Kobana's "Hear The Colors". Since this "debut" with our label collective last year, Matt has become a fixture on some of the world's biggest radio shows, including Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy". His latest contribution, entitled "Point 9", is Matt's first full single on Silk Music; it includes two visionary cuts.
The title track starts off with a firm and frisky beat, accompanied by refreshing arpeggio lines. Throughout the song, mesmerizing synth riffs establish a high energy level, combined with unique melodies and sound effects.
"Evening Paris Highway" slowly builds an enjoyable soundscape, filled with intriguing effects and synth structures. The breaks introduces hypnotizing chords, and later, lush theme riffs and soothing arpeggio lines fill the song with additional texture.
