Having already remixed two high-profile singles on Silk Digital in 2014, rising Russian talent Katrin Souza presents her debut EP on our deeper Silk Textures division. Known for soothing textures and lush grooves, Katrin does not disappoint fans with the gorgeous "I Lost My Way", featuring the sensual vocals of first-time Silk contributor Lena Grig. In the "Vocal Mix", an after-hours soundscape features a few stutter vox effects by Lena, in anticipation of a spoken-word full verse. Meanwhile, the chilled atmosphere lulls the listener into a deep reverie. As the track progresses, Lena's vocals become more layered and expressive, culminating in the poignant titular hook. These two female talents have already contributed greatly to various shades of electronic music. We're truly honored to feature them on Silk Textures together on this release.
